Ø  Difficulties and solutions whileoperating Groundnut Thresher

Ø   

Ø  Breakage of seed

Ø   

Ø  Gapin drum concave and blade should be 1 ½”/40mm

Ø  RPMOF Thresher should be not more than 400

Ø  All‘V’ belts should be tithe.

Ø   

Ø  If seed in straw/wastage

Ø  Setair directions by the help of lever given at the both flaps of blower/fan andflap at the wastage throwing area (as shown in fig below).

Ø  After operating Thresher care

Ø  Afterending of feeding run thresher empty for some time

Ø  RemoveThresher from tractor and clean all seed/wastage from it

Ø  Removeall ‘V’ belts and clean, protect ‘V’ belts from direct sunlight, rain and dust.

Ø  Cleanthresher by water and dry

Ø  Checkall parts of thresher replace damaged part of thresher and keep ready thresherfor next crop/season.

Ø  Cleanall bearing by Diesel and grease.

Ø  Keepthresher in shelter.

Ø  Removetyres of thresher and stand thresher on jack.

Ø  Kindly note:-

Ø  Crop should be dry at the time ofthreshing.

Ø  All ‘V’ belts should be tithe at thetime of operation.
